When viewership declines, then advertisers don’t want to pay large sums of money for audiences that are not watching. I am so upset by the new direction Hallmark is moving towards. Hallmark was a Christian based, family friendly network, that produced movies which reflected Christian values. This type of values separated you from all the other networks and created a very large and unique audience. It is a shame that you felt pressured to cater to the LGBTQ community, even when they are not a part of your loyal viewers and fans. Companies and businesses should remember who their loyal customers are and take them into consideration, when making changes.

Failing that, Hallmark Channel execs could have felt like their daytime programming needed a refresh since Home & Family had dominated the channel’s daytime time slots for almost a decade. Since the announcement was made, GAC Family had gone on to pick up quite a few movies that will be airing this holiday season. Michael Damian, director of “Christmas Waltz,” shared that his new movie — “Much Ado About Christmas” — will air on October 30 on GAC Family.

Steines, 54, made his first post-Hallmark TV appearance as a guest co-anchor on an episode of “Extra,” last week. There have not yet been any future projects of his announced. As for Ferrare, she now runs her lifestyle blog and is working on a new cookbook that’s set to be released later this year. But even at that time, the future seemed uncertain. Instead of returning to a full schedule, they announced the show was returning on April 5 for a new one-hour format airing only three days a week, Monday through Wednesday. Production was scheduled to begin on March 29.

Well guess what who ever you are,not going to happen! You not only pissed off the good people you have and had working for you you have also pissed off all of your views. Jen Lilley is starring in a GAC Family movie called “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” according to her social media posts. In his post, he didn’t hint at more things to come like he did in his Instagram story, however. In April, it was announced that Mathison would be joining “General Hospital.” Deadline reportedthat his role would begin after “Home & Family”ended in August. Mathison previously starred on “All My Children”as Ryan Lavery and was nominated for Daytime Emmys in 2002 and 2004.

The hosts of Home & Family are now leading a new Christmas event for GAC Family. In March,Variety reported that “Home & Family” was going to be canceled. Watch a preview for the original Christmas movie, "Christmas Class Reunion." Watch a preview the original Christmas movie, "The Most Colorful Time of the Year."
The final episode airs on August 4, 2021. Back then, Hallmark was airing movies in the show’s time slot, but this later changed. Now the channel will be airing reruns of “The Golden Girls” in the canceled show’s timeslot. According to the Hallmark Channel’s schedule for the coming weeks, two reruns of “The Golden Girls” will fill the former “Home & Family” timeslot on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The channel has encores of Hallmark movies scheduled to air back-to-back in the late afternoons and evenings during the week. Why did you cancel Home & Family and Good Witch?

That’s a 361% decrease in McKellar’s audience, year over year. Debbie, who has been a co-host on the series since 2016, celebrated the announcement of the show's eighth season back in 2019 with an Instagram post. "I have never felt so fortunate and proud to work for a network who values all of the right and important things in life," she wrote. "It feels amazing to spread love and goodness for a living." Cameron Mathison joined the show at the beginning of Season 7 and has remained a staple of the program ever since. I, too, am unhappy with the addition of gay movies. I had a gay son who died at the age of 26.
Hallmark announced last week that “Home & Family” will end with its currently airing season, with the remaining episodes cut down in length and frequency. The show, co-hosted by Mathison and Debbie Matenopoulos, will air its final installment in August. Hallmark’s dominance extends beyond ratings and into the larger cultural conversation.
For that reason, Home & Family fans had every reason to believe that once things settled down, the show would return and air the same way it did before the pandemic. After initially airing on The Family Channel during the mid-‘90s, Home & Family was then broadcast by Fox Family Channel before finally winding up on Hallmark Channel. Given that Home & Family was on the air for so long and it moved between three different channels, it was easy to think that the show would survive just about anything. These are just a few of the holiday movies that GAC Family has on its schedule. But while she’s working on these projects, she’s also considering returning to “The View.” In early July, reports began circulating that Matenopoulos might rejoin the daytime show.

Home & Family is an American daytime talk show. The series originally premiered on April 1, 1996, on The Family Channel, and was dropped by the network immediately prior to its 1998 relaunch as the Fox Family Channel. In 2012, Hallmark Channel picked up a revival of the series, airing as a two-hour program on weekday mornings.
Quite a few actors have left Hallmark for GAC, and there will be more. They are building content, now, and will probably be a lot like HM was. Also, check out Pureflix for clean, Christian content. What has happened to the Hallmark movies? The ones that have been on lately have not been enjoyable and almost laughable.

Bure did not bring her Hallmark audience with her to GAF (and she only brought 8% of her 5.6M Instagram followers). I don’t (didn’t) watch Hallmark for old reruns of Golden Girls or Monk. I would watch old Hallmark movies anytime as there are many that I have not previously viewed and many that I would not mind seeing again. But having 75% of your programing being old sitcoms is just lazy and cheap programing. This is NOT what a “Hallmark viewer” wants to see when they tune into Hallmark!!!
